Architectural Dialogue, Frieder Burda Museum Baden-Baden

Ideal Spaces has been invited to the architectural dialogue, an ongoing series on important issues in architecture and urban planning, presented by the renown Frieder Burda Museum in Baden-Baden/Germany.

Prof. Christa Reicher, UNESCO Chair for Cultural Heritage and Urbanism, talked about the redevelopment of architectural complexes which became dysfunctional, integrating them anew into existing city spaces.

Topics covered included the recreation of city space for communities, problems of investment-driven neoliberal urban development, the balancing between the conservation of cultural heritage and the need for ecological new city concepts.
