Podcasts
We have been busy with our podcasts. We have released podcasts with Jonathan Kennedy, a former member of the British Council, about art and community; with award winning architect Alex Josephson, Toronto, about new ideal city concepts; with human geographer Andy Harrod, UK, head of a research group for health and well being.
We also released podcasts from our ongoing series about the younger generation, with Syfromfaraway (Germany) about social trends and social media; from the USA with Ana Schluth, Sarah Haeflinger, Luke Kelly, and Jackson Truong Montgomery about a positive city of the future. These podcasts are connected with our podcasts about citizenship, place, identity, and democracy we made with John Roberts, Brunel University, London, Jason Montgomery from the Catholic University of America, Washington D.C., and Ettore Mazzola, University of Notre Dame, Rome. Our podcasts can be found worldwide on Apple Plus, You Tube, Spotify, Universal Music, Castbox, amongst others. Podcasts will soon be found also on Substack.
On our German website we released a podcast with former mayor Dennis Nitsche about citizen participation, and with architect Mike Maisch, Baden-Baden, about reinstalling human measure in architecture, together with classical materials.
Upcoming Podcasts: In our next podcasts to come, we will look at art as a catalysator of community building, at new ways of establishing communal living, and at the relation between urbanity and imagination.

Concomitant to our podcasts, our last issue (no. 6) dealt with city, citizenship, place, identity and democracy, crucial issues for a humane city life. Our forthcoming issue (no. 7) will look at what we called in its overall effects the ‘demise of the city’, also expressed in works of art. In future issues, it is intended to strengthen the art section of the journal.
Events

London exhibition
Members of our foundation were invited and attended an exhibition by architect Jateen Lad, member of the Royal Institute of British Architects. The topic was about the loss of cultural heritage and its deliberate destruction in an Indian city, and its consequences for identity and social cohesion. The exhibition took place and is still ongoing at The Brunei/SOAS Gallery in Bloomsbury, central London.
Ideal Spaces has been invited to present at the Accademia Vivarium Novum in Frascati/Rome, Italy. The international event is about humanitas and the harmony of place, May 28-31.
Events in Development: Ideal Spaces plans an event in September/early October taking place in Rome, about the loss of cultural heritage. This loss is not confined to architecture, but extends today within many different fields in society. In June of this year, Ideal spaces members will be traveling to Modena/Italy, to begin concrete planning for an event taking place early next year.
