Karlsruhe/Modena project, UNESCO Cities of Media Arts
Ideal Spaces has been invited to participate in a project from the Kulturamt Karlsruhe, perfomed with the city of Modena, Italy. The project has been funded by the EU, in the context of their Cult program. Both Karlsruhe and Modena are UNESCO Cities of Media Arts, and the aim of the project is to find ways of how media arts can assist in direct citizen participation in cultural projects, to strengthen democracy.
Podcasts
In our new series dealing with art, architecture and society, we made a podcast with Karo Godles, an international artist working in Los Angeles, Baden-Baden and other places. Karo has been trained in classical scenography and graffiti art. She speaks about the relation between scenography and atmosphere, the evolution of graffiti art from its beginnings as a protest movement to its situation today, and about the effects of AI on the artist today.
We have aligned several more podcasts, to be updated in February. For our podcasts, please visit our website, https://www.idealspaces.org/podcasts-and-interviews/. Our podcasts are available on Youtube, Spotify, Apple +, Castbox, Amazon Music/Podcasts
