Workshop – ‘LOSS OF CULTURAL HERITAGE’ -September 04-06 at the Ideal Spaces Foundation Venue, Nesslerstra. 16, Karlsruhe, Germany

We are into the final planning stages of our Workshop, and have had a wonderful reaction to it. The registrations for participation in person and online have been very positive.

As we have presented previously, our forthcoming workshop on the ‘Loss of Cultural Heritage’, will be hosted by Ideal Spaces and Prof. Ettore Mazzola at the Ideal Spaces Foundation venue Nesslerstr. 16, Karlsruhe/Germany, September 04-06, 2016. Participation is free of charge, and can be attended both in person and online. Amongst others, speakers will be Prof. Mazzola, Prof. Jason Montgomery, Anna Schluth, Jessica Croteau, Prof. Anna de Jong. A complete line up will follow in August. The event will be a new format, combining imagery, visual presentations, and speech/discussion. The program and the registration for online participants can be found at:

Podcasts

We have presented new podcasts from Mustafa Sherif, urban planner and architect, about situation of communities in recent urban contexts, Eileen Muriel Tasca, who is active in the international film business, member of the international Academy of Television, Arts and Sciences (International Emmy Awards), and President of two cultural initiatives, the CREARTS Rome and Associazione Caput Mundi, Rome. Eileen presnted how culture is not an accessory to civic life; it is one of the principal forces that shape identity, vitality and the future of communities.

We have several new podcasts that will be released in July and August with Anna de Jong, University of Glasgow, and Miriam Samir Rincon, architect, urban designer and heritage advocate, whose work explores the intersection of culture,ecology and the built environment. In the coming weeks we will be recording new podcasts for release in August and September.
