The Fifth Landscape

On Tuesday, July 5, at the Ca’ del lupo restaurant in Montelupo Albese, summer headquarters of the Alba Rotary Club, the first convivial meeting of the 2022-23 Rotary year featured architect Diego Repetto with a trip to the Fifth Landscape. Diego Repetto explained how the fifth landscape-which follows the first, second, and third, which are increasingly anthropized, and the fourth, shaped by artistic initiative-identifies a landscape, often ephemeral, with a more immersive dimension, linked to the use of multimedia technologies, light, and sound, so as to create unusual, engaging, and alienating sensory perceptions.
