Symposium Guimaraes/Portugal – HOUSING

New materials from the symposium on housing in Guimaraes have been posted on our

website (www.idealspaces.org) under Events category including downloaded video on the

event.  There will be new releases weekly on the Housing Symposium/Guimaraes with

additional edited footage of the event in each release, including international and 

Portuguese speakers. 

We have also released articles on the symposium on our social media sites, including: Facebook, Instagram and Linked In.

 

New Ideal Spaces project on immersive spaces

In preparing a project about immersive spaces to take place in Modena next year, we met with representatives of the City of Modena and the Kulturamt Karlsruhe to line out the scope of the project, plus first steps. The project is ongoing.

 

Urban Disruption II

With our associate Matt Bühler and his team from vrbn, we started our project on a future urban environment enriched with places for citizens, parks, and urban greenery. This project is a prolongation of the very successful project Urban Disruption I, also commented in the ESRI blog: https://www.idealspaces.org/projects/utopian-disruption-concept/

 

Workshop The Perspective shifts

Podcasts

The podcasts with Lia Macedo on youth today, Pedro Guimaraes & Daniel Paiva from the University of Lisbon on digitalization and the city, and with Willi Sutter from bogenständig about community today (on our German website) will appear soon. Further podcasts will follow.     

 

CULT Project UNESCO Cities of Media Arts, Karlsruhe and Modena

The project finale was held on July 9th as a webinar, also outlining possibilities for future cooperation.
